John Williams's Hedwig's Theme and the rest of the Harry Potter scores, in a chamber music hall rather than a cinema — a rather more civilised way to hear them. The Mystery Ensemble plays them on acoustic strings, keyboards and percussion.
There are two evenings, 9 October and 4 December, both at 19:00. The organiser is Red Events, who stage concerts of this sort in old mansions, on rooftops and in glasshouses.
What is played
Hedwig's Theme, Hogwarts March, Lily's Theme, Harry in Winter, Dumbledore's Army, Double Trouble and Flight of the Order of the Phoenix, among twenty themes in all. The organiser notes that the programme may change.
